anyone selling a GAMMA radio?

Like everyone else's, my GAMMA radio-tape deck (92 100S) has gone belly up
(tape transport non functional and intermittent volume control/power switch).
The AUDI dealers have rebuilt units for around $100, but they are perpetually
out of stock with indefinite waiting periods.  Any suggestions?  Anyone have a
good 100% funtional unit for sale, or even a broken one that I might be able
to mine for parts to fix mine? Any junkyards in the SF Bay area that are
likely to have one?  What do junkyards charge for these? Thanks for any
suggestions.
