No, but discharge the bomb by pumping the brake pedal and turn the
wheels from lock to lock before disconnecting the lines.

I think it's the return line, but pour the fluid into all three of them
for the peace of mind.

Normal working direction - clockwise, if I remember it correctly.

Correct

No, first turn the wheels from lock to lock several times with the
engine *off*. Then switch the engine on, top up the reservoir as the
bomb fills with fluid, then turn the wheels from lock to lock several
times again.
