brake fluid bleeders

I've noticed some having trouble with shearing off caliper brake fluid
bleeders.  I learned a little trick awhile back.  If it doesn't loosen
off with minimal force use heat to make it cherry red, only the
bleeder.  I use acetylene for the heat, but I suppose it could be done
with propane and O2 if you could focus the flame enough.  Then pour cold
water on it.  You may be surprised at how easily it comes free.  Don't
heat the whole damn thing up, just the bleeder.
