Doesn't sound like you did anything that would cause your problem. My shop
would have taken power from right behind the stock radio. Yellow to the cig
lighter if that is constant, red to red behind the radio, black to brown
behind the radio. My only suggestion is to use the correct antenna adaptors
from a car audio shop as this seems to be an area that is quite
sensitive(splicing). If you decide to change your power wires make sure you
have the code to the radio ( I think it's coded, if I remember correctly).
