If you don't know the code you will need to go to a dealer.  They will pull
your radio out (takes 1 minute with the proper tools) and punch the serial
number into the Audi computer.  The computer will give you the code number.

Warning #1 - if you have punched in the wrong code three times in a row the
radio locks itself out.  It will not give you another chance to even put in
the right number unless you reset it.  Just remove it from the power source
for a second.

Warning #2 - if a prior owner changed the code number the Audi number
doesn't help.  It seems there is no back-door number that works no matter
what.  You must have whatever code was set in the radio - be it by the
factory or by a prior owner.
