The _garage_ - what a great topic for discussion given our regular need
for such facilities!

22' x 25' plus a single car garage-sized storage barn out back.

No, not yet.

I have a 200 amp service panel in the garage. There's a 30 amp feed to
the compressor, a 60 amp feed to the welder, and 6 120vAC outlets
currently. More are planned. I also have 6 4' flourescents lighting
the garage, and 5 over the bench areas. Oh yeah, I have a drop light by
the garage door opener.

Yes, BTDT, at least with a rotary. I don't think I'd try lifting
anything heavier though.

My wife is looking for a new house because with another baby on the way in
March, we'll be crowded with 5 people and only 2 bedrooms. The neat thing
is that she is looking only at houses with large garages, extra shops or
lotsa land to build a shop. :-) The last house we considered had a
carpeted 3-car garage, with nat gas radiant heat, water and a huge 5 acres
to build another shop later. It has 400 amp service to the house too, so
putting 150 amps in the garage would be easy. You have to have a place to
work on the Quattro!
