Re: quattro-digest V4 #1610

I have 15" alloys on my 4kq. WHY do you wnat to put 15 x 5.5 inch rims on
though. Mine are 15 x 6.5. I doubt you can fit 205/50 tires on a 5.5" wide rim.
Anyhow, I have 205/50-ZR15 Bridgestone RE-71 tires on in the summer and love them.
They will rub a TINY bit in the front at full wheel lock AND full compression of
the springs that only happens on accident pulling into steep driveways going too
fast. IT is close in the rear but it still clears. A different tire might rub a
little though but you can alway grind your fenders a little or roll them.
My wheels are Superiors and I am not sure of the back spacing but Les Schwab
tires caries them and they only come in one backspacing.
Any more questions feel free to ask. L8R
