Paul Rivera inquired about Castrol Syntec.  I have used the 5W50 version in my Alfa Romeo 164 with excellent results; no oil consumption or leakage.  I use the wide viscosity in the Alfa because it is driven infrequently and therefore I only change the oil once a year.

I use Mobil 1 in my other cars, but wish Mobil 1 would also be available in a wide viscosity vewrsion (as in Europe).
