Email has one(of many problems); it's impersonal, and therefore people are
more likely to blow off other people.

Simple rule.  Picture yourself in front of the person you're speaking to.
If you're gonna get one in the kisser after saying what's in the email, hit
the delete key and save everyone the grief.

I think both parties did some no-nos, but there are no winners and no losers.
Aside from some bruised egos, no major damage done. Both of you are valued
members of the list, both are experienced, and both contribute their share
of important, helpful, humorous information to the list. You're both
well-loved, so relax, ok?

On the subject of bandwidth, here's my realization and $.02.
We've become a community.  Stuff like stories are a part of the qlist.

Here's a suggestion...both of yuz characters go out and install MicroShaft
WinBloze 98, and have some fun, forget about the whole thing, ok? :)  Enjoy
the ride to the store too.  Blow off some dork in a droF.  When you get
back, spank Billy Gates a few times*.  Let's let this one drop, ok?  Please?


*Winbloze 98 comes with an amusing game called Billagotchi or something
like that.  Bill throws temper-tantrums and gets spanked if he doesn't make
enough money.

Anyone who comments on my use of bandwidth will be promptly sacked with a
wet herring.  You have been aptly warned.
