IF a comparable new car existed it would be close to or exceeding $50k.
The S4/6's were priced in the $40k's, if I remember correctly.  Apples
and oranges...  The A4 is a wonderful vehicle, but regardless of engine
or other options, it is not comparable to a 92-96 S4/6, no offense to
any A4 owners intended.

Since I have seen no other post regarding a 91 200tqw for sale, I can
only surmise you are referring to mine.  The figure is $16,900 ...
_asking_  which is intended to impart a flexible stance on price.
