That was my experience with 80/100s - I _never_ changed a bulb in the
Audi 80CD or in the ur-quattro before I "upgraded" it.  But the 100/170s
in the ur-quattro last 3-4 months.

I'm not sure whether it's the increased voltage (auxiliary harness) or
simply the heat.  Whatever - if you're thinking of upgrading your bulbs,
add this factor to your cost equations.
