With all due respect, the 915 transmission was replaced by the Getrag built
G-50 in 1987 through 1989 3.2L Carreras. There are new (for Porsche)
cone-type synchros in all 5+1 gears, hydraulic clutch, and a hypoid-drive
pinion. Almost indestructible, the gears are monstrous. Not that I've had
mine apart...
