an interesting take on this topic. this week-end i'm in auckland so it's
ur-quattro time.
i am always struck when i drive the ur-quattro by the amazing difference in the
steering between it and the rs2 (or the old s2 for that matter). the first few
turns in the ur-quattro you think that there is something wrong because of the
great tactile feedback coming through the steering wheel (helped in part by the
size of the wheel). that amount of information coming through the steering
wheel of the rs2, and you *have* got problems. so after i tell myself that i'm
driving a different car, i just settle back and enjoy it...
audi have not created another car with the steering of the ur-quattro.
don't really now why...
