The sys works perfectly well after I installed that Aux expansion
reservoir from a Toyota and connected it to the spout on the Eurovan
cap, that I also used instead of the OEM Audi cap. The valve assy should
be removed from the cap, in order to let it vent to atmo.

Since then I had taken the car to Canada and back.
No more Evans overflow, no more sweet smell in the cabin. The problem
has been solved completely.
