Hi Tony;
It's been years since I did this job on my '86 5kcstq, and the memory
has faded to a dull ache, but I do recall that several screws were VERY
cleverly hidden and the core was sealed into the box with a massive gob of
silicone rubber; this may be holding things together. Carefully pry your way
around the joint and try to see what is and isn't moving. This can identify
the location of clips or screws. I don't recall that it was that difficult
to get it apart after I found all the screws, but it took several tries. I
don't remember dismantling the flap levers, but carefully note the flap
positions before you seperate the box. My biggest PITA was getting the box
out of the car; the rest was fairly easy.
