PPG vs audi winsheild

hello guys,
I had a quick question..i recently had an encounter with a deer in my 98 a4
which broke the windsheild..when i picked the car up the windsheild had been
replaced with a ppg one...it looks exactly the same but i think i may hear
more wind noise..i realize this is probably a placebo effect..but is there
any difference between the winsheild? is it worth trying to have an orginal
audi installed? by the way i noticed the original sunroof is ppg anyhow..
