Here is another source of radar/lidar information.

There is much discussion of the lidar "signature" of
the average automobile and the efficacy of stealth
license plate covers.  Apparently license plates  -
especially those using retro-reflective paint - are
by far the greatest sources of laser return signal.

One plate cover product reviewed cut the return signal
by a huge amount, enough to cause other reflection
sources to dominate. So maybe there is hope in that
area after all.
