Stott and I have both done writeups on this.
Core is in the right side of the heater box (remove glove
compartment and lower cover).
Replacing it is simple - two hose clamps and it's out.
Getting to it is the bitch - the evaporator is in the way,
if you still have a/c.   I made an offering to the Audi gods
and Dremel'd the evaporator right out of the way :)
It would help if you had a helper to loosen the evap
lines at the firewall I think.
