Can't really speak for the wagon, but for the sedan there are two antenna
amplifiers; one inside the A pillar, and the other is in *one* of the C pillars.
I say *one* because the Alldata disc isn't specific about right or left for the
rear amplifier. If you're having trouble with AM reception, I would suspect your
rear amplifier; the top 2 or 3 lines of the rear window defroster are unheated
and used for AM reception. The front amplifier is used for FM as well as the
rear and the entire rear defroster setup. If you feel lucky, see if you can
disassemble the interior trim on your hatch and find the amplifier in there on
one of the sides.
