Brake proportioning valve urq vs. 4kq?

I would be a little surprised as the brakes are so different

use as much of that stuff as possible because a new proportioning valve 
is $75 from Halsey!!>

The $2 in parts with no valve is cheaper.  All you have to lose if you 
don't like it is a 1/2 hour and a rebleed!
