If it's not been taken real good care of: Do the clay treatment, clean
it with Meguiars body scrub (or Klasse, if you can get it) (both are
NON-abrasive; they work chemically), follow with one coat of Meguiar's
cleaner/wax, then use Meguiar's Medallion. It won't take that long,
really. All of the products (except Klasse) should be available at your
local Pep Boys or equivalent.

If you want to do what's best, that's my recommendation. It's only going
to set you back about $60 in products, and they will last a long time.
If you're going to spend hours of your time onthe car, well, what's your
time worth. Me I want the best results I can get per hour spent. What's
an extra $30 on wax? But I am a fanatic.

BTDT. A few other good products:• 'Black Again' from imparts - removes
oxidation (the greying you see). Feeds the rubber.
• Blaufergnugen's rubber sauce - insinuates itself into the rubber pores
to rejuvinate the rubber/plastic - nothing else I've seen does this.
• Westley's Black Magic - thick silicone sauce makes about anything look
good. has a greay residue and attracts dirt - careful where you use it -
on bumpers you will soil your clothes if you brush against them after a
few days driving. Looks real good though.
• I like Mother's Back to Black for it's finish and cost. No plasticiser
(ArmorAll) treats rubber and plastic nicely.
