RE: Magnetic oiling system




I believe that a magnetic oil drain plug is the way to go.
Simple, cheap and you can directly observe the crap
very easily every time you change the oil. You do change the oil? Right?

Common sense will say yes, but how much do magnetic drain plugs and
magnets you put on the oil filter help? I've seen two kinds of magnets for
the filter. One is the band strap type, the other is the cap that mounts
to the bottom (top?) of the filter. If I used one, I'd use the cap. Seen
in it person.
