We already have two used 1.8tq's on our lot (slushbox though).

I had an interesting discussion with my sales manager today about the used
car market. He says that the mid-priced (and up) used car market is dead
(or is on it's way) because of the push for leasing. Many people have
already figured out that on certain makes/models leasing is cheaper than
buying used vehicles. Sure, the less than $5K market is still there (need a
third car for the kid, etc), but used mid-priced and up vehicles are taking
a beating in depreciation.
Audi still doesn't have fantastic "programs" for leasing, but they are
quickly improving. VW has just recently begun a strong campaign for
leasing. This could amount to great deals for buyers like you or me whom
prefer used vehicles over new ones for they tend to keep them for a long
time.
I think you'll see the best "deals" on used A8Q's in the near future, for
the market seems to have really slowed down on them. Remember the $10K off
deal that Clair was advertising recently? What do you think that does to
the resale values of the A8q's out there already?
