It must be a sign from above that this thread should surface for the
first time since I joined the list......right prior to my first trip to
Japan ever.

A university buddy of mine is a prof. at one of the Japanese
universities and is inviting us over for a visit before his 2 year
assignment is up.
The plan is to fly over to LA in the first leg of the journey, pick up
my Mom and fly over to Osaka.

I would appreciate any advice that might be offered as to what airline/
day of the week is cheaper, tips on fighting that MUCHO jet lag (15hrs
for me, 18hrs for my Mom) etc. etc.

Please reply directly to my e-mail address coz this thread is not even
remotely Audi-related.
