  Unka Bart and others,
Ben and I have spoken many times on places to stay for this year's
upcoming Audi Fest. It seems that while Manitou Springs is a nice cozy
place and in close proximity to "The Mountain", there just isn't a large
enough motel to accomodate 25-30 listers and their cars. Not that we can't
try but this just seems to be the limiting factor. What I'll try to do is take
a little trip in the next few weeks up to Manitou and really check out the
potential motels and their respective sizes as we both feel that this location
is ideal for our group. Another location would be many of the motels near
the freeway (I-25) and do as we did last year which resulted in everyone
meeting at the car Museum the morning before the race. Regardless, we'll
work on Manitou as out prime location to stay(maybe two motels side by
side) and go from there. I'll let everyone know what I find out in the next
few weeks. Until then, I hope everyone can make the Steamboat event this
weekend ;-)
