I may have mislead some.  I called the VW/Audi dealer and the parts guy said
the new style pump is only some hardware to eliminate the press. damper on top
of the FP.  He quoted me $322 !!!! OUCH. I can't remember where I saw the $125
price - I may have dreamed it!!!!!   If it comes to me I will let you know.
