You're definitely a nice guy Twain!

If it were me I'd expect the guy to take care of it ... yes, that means 
buying a new wheel and tire!  Of course he'd be more than welcome to 
have the old wheel & tire as a memento!  To me that is an implicit 
assumption for anyone that I allow to drive/ride my car/motorcycle ... 
you break it you fix it!  The guy may have insurance, or you may want 
to have it taken care of by yours ... but he needs to pay the deductable.
