oe leads, I think not
Just phoned the dealer, the holder is 3.6 gbp but as the old one is not broken
then there's no need to replace it, the leads however for my 80q are not
itemised specifically, they priced up how much a set including the one between
the coil and distributor cap would be though and it came to 88.50 gbp, I don't
know what everyone else would do but I'm off elsewhere for new leads.
Is this price for real? I bought a set of bosch leads for my old sport and for
four plus the coil lead it came to 18 quid, surely the dealer cannot put that
much on, or the leads be that much better than non Audi (possibly bosch
anyway??) to make so much difference. Even allowing for the extra lead needed
for the fifth cyl it is a big increase. Oh yeah, that was excluding 17.5% VAT.
Robbing sods.
I am half expecting a similar issue to the old split fire plug one with respect
to performance wires, as long as you buy reasonable ones are they that likely to
be _noticeably_ eclipsed by performance ones? Or do the higher underhood temps
with a turbo engine may mean that higher spec casings would be necessary??
