Re: Callaway Turbo kit
NA motors got piston coolers beginning with the NF/NG high
compression motor.
Forget the Calloway system unless you already have it. They
wanted $6000 for them in '88, up from the $4000 or so they
started with. For $6000 1988 dollars you can have a very
nice MC or possible 3B motor. I talked to them in the fall
of '88. they were out of production at that time. For a
substantial deposit they were willing to have a new exhaust
manifold cast (6 months estimated turn around) and assemble
a kit for me. At that time boost was moved to 12 psi from
the original 10. Hmmm.... I think I've posted this
before...at least once.
