I bought my 4kq from the original owner who imported it herself to
California. There's a ton of paperwork in there, but she did it.
Originally cost DM46313 total of which DM2294 (or US$866 at the time)
was the shipping charge to San Francisco. I have the Dealer sticker
which shows a price of DM47815 so she paid less than sticker. This was
in 1985 and the sticker lists California Specs as a no charge line item.
