Is anyone familiar with the 1998 A6 Wagon
currently being sold until the new A6 Avant comes out
latter this year. I purchased one and love the car except for
the ride quality. It is very stiff and harsh.
I am familiar with Mercedes and BMW automobiles and while
these cars ride firm they don't approach the rough ride of my Audi. I have the
16" wheels with Goodyear tires. I don't have the window sticker to check
but maybe my car has a sport suspension option?? The ride is so stiff, the car
handles poorly on rough roads( it dances around the bumps). Why would Audi make
the suspension so stiff??
