Thank you very much.  I will try using S18.  My fuse box cover says
something about the power sunroof on certain models, in addition to
the rear wiper, but I suspect that my sunroof actually runs off a
different fuse (I'll double check of course).

Looks like I'll just have to unbolt and drop what looks like a small
panel of relays that's in the way - then I should have easy access
to the bottom of the fuse box.

Which is the hot side?  Before or after that fuse?  Shouldn't I grab
the power after that fuse?  So one side is always hot, and the
other side is after the fuse, and is hot so long as the fuse doesn't
blow.  Sorry for my ignorance here - although I've spent many days
working on cars (esp. my Audi!) I still have a lot to learn, esp. as
I hope to keep this car for many more years.
