V8 Quattro Front speaker question

Have anyone replaced the less than perfect Bose speakers up front in this
car? If you did put in speakers, what size and where did you put them?

The factory system has to go... I have the rear planned with two ADS 200i
speakers in the rear deck and a ads 10" sub mounted where the ski pocket is
but the front is still up in the air.

I could do a woofer in the door and a tweeter in the dash but I don't like it
for two reasons. 1. The tweeter would be mounted pointing up and hence
reflect of the windshield and 2. the distance between the woofer and the
tweeter would be to great..

My current thought is to use the ads 325 coax in the front doors but I don't
know if they really would fit. It's an 5 1/4 woofer.

Any ideas? I do belive that the interior is much the same as in the 200
series so if you have done one of those it may help.
