I will state what is obvious to most listers, but might not be for a
few:

DO NOT RUN YOUR TIMING BELT 100,000 MILES.

Lister consensus (basically the same thing as the law when applied to
Audis) is that you change your belt at 60,000 miles (or less) and at max
time interval of 5 years. Be aware that a lister lost a V-8 belt at 57k
miles and there is another infamous event of a very expensive Audi
losing it's belt at 24 miles due to age (10 years I think).
