'99 A6 Avant

I'm not entirely sure whether you are speaking of the rear
seats, or a third seat (in the "way back"). Nevertheless,
the '99 A6 Avant is a decendent (by two generations) of my
'91 200 Avant. My children (about the same size as yours)
ride in the back seats all the time. Other than the
ubiquitous "when are we going to get there" questions,
there's been no complaints. The rear seats in the A6 sedan
should give you a good idea of what the rear seats in the
Avant will be like. If you are talking about a third seat,
I'm of no help because my 200 does not have one.

Welcome to Audi -- they are wonderful cars that keep getting
better and better. If you live in an area where snow and
rain are an integral part of your winter, get a quattro. You
