Okay I had this same problem on my '81 Coupe.  I thought that it was the fuel
pump and it wasn't... There is this little Insidious "Sediment" trap BEFORE
the fuel filter... It's plastic and white and under the rear of the car.  Bet
it's full of crap and not letting much fuel by.  It's a $2.00 filter that can
cripple the car.
