Could it be you have a clogged Cat? With mine, the car started fine but
would not take very much gas so I had to feather the gas pedal to pick up
speed. Dropped the cat and the engine ran fine... nice sound. Gutted the
cat and ran with that until I could get an aftermarket cat ($200 vs
Dealer's $1200)
