We've replaced front strut cartridges in two 5Ks in the past year. '87
5K CSTQ and '88 5K S. In both instances the right front shock was better than
the left, mainly because the left front was broken in both cars. Left side
unit offered no resistance at all. Haven't run into the bent cart problem yet
(and hope we don't.)
