Currently, I have some bland ARE five spoke 15x7s with a 35mm off-set on my
coupe.  One of the damn things rubs on the rear  driver's side, plus they
have a dual 4x100, 4x108 bolt pattern, so i'm thinking of giving them to my
girlfriend to use on her currently poorly-shod Jetta 16v.

Your wheels sound like a great deal, and I'm quite interested, but I'm
afraid of the same rub problem, considering their 32mm off-set.  Have you
tried them on a fwd coupe (ET 45mm off-set)?  Also, are the Speedlines
actually 15x7s?  I thought they were 15x6.  If they are, it might
allieviate the rub problem.
