This is one of the best upgrades I've done, in bang-for-the-buck terms.

I did it to the ur-quattro around nine months ago, and it's become so intuitive 
in use that it's positively _brilliant_.  Once you're really used to it, the 
operation is seamless.  I had one passenger say: "I've been watching your 
wipers for an hour, and they always seem to adjust the interval to _exactly_ 
how much rain is falling.  How?"
 
I just said: "It's an Audi.  Vorsprung durch Technik, don'tcha know?"
