ABSOLUTELY THE BEST DENVER AREA ALLIGNMENT SHOP
Believe me when I say this, go to Hawley's Bear Allignment
(Spruce Street Auto and 4x4). Their located on Spruce street in
Boulder, and the guy you want to do you car is named Tom I think. They
charge $69.00 for a full for wheel allignment, a little more if you car
is majorly screwed up like mine was...
I went out there because I needed my car alligned before
Steamboat, so on Friday Tom and I worked together on it for 5 hours!
The excessive time was due mostly to my tie rods being welded together
with rust. He got it complete, except the stearing wheel was off center,
so he told me to come back Monday. I came back after the Steamboat event
and he finished the car with new tie rods. I think Scott Justusson will
agree that my car has never driven better, and I've had four allignments
in the last year here in Chicago!
There are two major items of note:
1) After beating the snot out of the car at Steamboat, none of his
work had been whacked out at all.
2) This guy does it all by eye, and then checks it with some fairly
simple tools. He is really a craftsman. He is very familiar with
Audis, and enjoys working on them.
I have no affiliation with this shop except that I am on hell of a
pleased customer! These guys bent over backwards for an out-of-towner,
and I am totally wowed by their level of service. Go there, you won't
be dissappointed.
