injector cleaning

Hi all,

So, is it possible to do any sort of injector cleaning at home,
or do I really need that hi-pressure solvent outfit from a shop.

Specifically, I'm dealing with the injectors on an '86 4ks (4cyl)
I really need a cheap/easy/fast (relatively) good way of cleaning
these until I find the source of the clogging  (just drained the 
tank, which wasn't bad at all, and put in a Bosch filter in place
of a not very old Purolater unit)
