Help with '87 5KTQW Battery Drain, PLZ!

Hi,

I have an '87 5KTQW and of late it will not start - low battery. BUT the
battery is not near dead, just a little low. A Battery charger brings it
up in 20 minutes or so enough to start.

Also, when I start it up then, the AUTO setting on the climate control
*may* come on of it's own volition. Also, the automatic seat mover decides
to work or not at this time.

Does this ring any bells for anyone - like key things to look for which
might be causeing a short or a drain. I dislike the idea of just giving it
over to a mechanic and say "go for it!".

Of course, any help would be greatly appreciated!
