Re: normal oil temps

Be careful....
1. make sure your gauge is correct
2. do you have an oil cooler thermostat?
3. is your coolant thermostat OK? what temp. is it?
4. what temp. is your coolant, do you have a gauge?
5. if your coolant temp is TOO cold and all else is OK, you might want to
use a hotter thermostat in your coolant system (that, will also raise your
oil temp.)

You can also do like the truckers and block part of your radiator or you oil
cooler scoop (less cooling)

You don't want oil that is too cold, but you must make sure that the
information (your gauge reading) is correct....

Avi
if all else fail, just drive like a bat out hell, guaranties to raise you
oil temp. even if you run the "unnatural" stuff, "synthetic" oil......
