There's a brief segment in _Cool Hand Luke_ where Paul Newman's character 
sings this while strumming an acoustic guitar. Being more an R&B kind of guy, 
I won't say it wasn't originally by Coe. But I must admit the "failure to 
communicate" line has stuck w/me even better!
