A4 woes

Never a contributor but an avid reader - 

Thought I'd keep you all up to date on problems seen on my 97 A4QM...
13k miles and no MAJOR problems yet (keeping my fingers crossed!!!)
\Here ia a list of the minor ones to date - car is currently in shop to 
address all of these.....

Have been seeing the Pentosin level dropping gradually over the past
4k miles-no apparent leaks on the garage floor - appears that either 
the pump or the rack eats the stuff....

A seal leak on the right side of the rear diff. housing (where the 
halfshaft bearing mounting flange is attached) is starting to
show dime sized spots on my pristine garage floor - nipping this one
in the bud  - I don't think that enough has leaked to damage the 
geartrain inside.

So far I've had 2 coolant expansion tanks - both have leaked (seeped?) 
coolant at the upper fitting (the small metal reinforced orifice on the
topside). Time for Audi to cough up another one for me....

Last but not least - the driver's side winshield washer nozzle (one 
that is aimed at the outermost windshield segment) is aimes too high 
and when attempting to clean off dried roadspray (lots of that this 
year in Maine!!) leaves dry wiper streaks on the screen  - left alone
would eventually scratch the surface.

I would be interested in hearing of similar problems from any of you
on either A4's or other models.
