There's nothing wrong with second-hand fuel pumps, provided you change
out the check valve.  They either work or they don't, and they're
outboard of the filter so the SH1T issue doesn't apply.

I would _NEVER_ fit a used metering head, even if I removed it myself
and cling-filmed it on the spot.
