Re: Recaro update

John,

Well in retrospect shipping your interior cross country would have been a
breeze. I just came from the jyard with a cordless drill. No spot welds,
only nice long beads.

So I'll have to rent a big killer cordless drill, go back with a hole saw
and drill a ton'o holes to get out the whole piece.

Then trim it and weld it back on.

Got a message from Recaro, I'm gonna call now but he did say they don't
have any applications for power seat cars. Seems odd as so many did have
power seats.

Now if they could buy the OEM piece that I can't, mount it to a longer flat
piece that would bolt down where the front of a power seat did then they
would have a bolt in.

The frame I did get is superb quality. And some parts look as if they were
sourced from whoever amkes the audi seat frames. Audi/VW? Lear?
