Re:The quality of the 90

Hmmm, most trouble-free Audi?

My vote goes to the '84 4KQ. Relatively simple electrics, easy to get at
instrument cluster, good F.I. system that's simple to service if you know
the basics, stout body, absolutely bulletproof Quattro driveline
ludicrously understressed by 115hp engine.

My old N.J. mechanic concurred - when I brought it by right after I
bought it, he banged on the trunk with his fist and said:

"Ahhhhh. Zee '84!....it ees zee BEST Quattro!" Ok, he was biased
because he had an '84 Rally 4KQ, but it was a tough, fun car.

Best Wishes,
Alex
