Quattro vs. Stang...flamethrower ready!
Alright, get your nomex on because I'm takin' out the flamethrower!
I HATE Mustangs! I wanted to tune my quattro just for the sole purpose
of being able to leave one behind at a stoplight (spinning it's tires) and
embarrass the hell out of him. I wanted MASSIVE boost so I could do this. My
stock 5ktq couldn't beat out most Dodge Caravan mini-vans at the stoplight,
but MAN did it pull strong in 3rd gear on the boost! ;)
I figure with a little tweaking a 5ktq could beat out most any stock 5.0!
If your running about 13-15 lbs of boost. I'd love to feel the satisfaction
of pulling up to a stoplight next to a green Mustang 5.0 with tinted windows,
"flowmaster" exhaust with chrome exhaust tips no less, and a big "No Fear" or
"311" or "Metallica" sticker in the back window. When he revs the motor in
that POS I'd just give him the look. Like, screw you buddy! Then, rev the car
to about 4,500 rpm when I saw the other light turn yellow and wait to dump the
clutch, sending all that power to all four wheels. Yes, the car would twitch a
little for a second before it got traction. Then, I'd already be on the boost,
and gone while that punk's Mustang is still back at the stoplight spinning it's
tires, _trying_ to look cool! That would be gratification. Unfortunately I'd
be too far ahead to see the puzzled look on his face as he wondered why a big
old 4 door sedan just blew him away. ;) That would be gratification enough
for me to justify making a quattro VERY fast!
There are so many Billy Badasses around here in 5.0's and I'm so sick of
them! BTW, Anyone have a really fast 5ktq or 200tq I could borrow to embarrass
a few folks around here? It would benefit humanity.
